So happy to be back, so sad for having to leave this time for good, so happy to see my friends, so sad for having to say goodbye to one of them, so happy to see "my" city again, so sad to see it so empty...
Pushing most of these thoughts out of my mind, what an incredible day. We should do it more often...

Another stage
Met Lucka in Prague went to the airport with her to pick up my family.
I've waited a long time for this... glad they came it was the only thing that could (and did) cheer me up that day.
I was beggining to play the final act.

I was gone
It was time. Time to go.
Said goodbye to my new room-mate "The Samurai".
Had my last breakfast. Walked down to the gas station bought something went to my "friend of difficult mornings" to get a cup of coffee and went to my room to eat.
Waits was on the Ipod...talking about yesterday coming back...
I looked at my room, at my table, at my chair, my flag and my eyes froze on the key that was dancing on the door. My side of the room was dead and empty. Turned it for the last time. Twice.
Had my bags in A block 216... check-out. Had a bus to catch there couldn't be any more procrastination.
At the bus stop enjoyed the view one would see at the beginning of every trip (the ones that started with a bus).
Sat on the bus with my back turned to the driver and Pardubice kept shrinking.
I had officially left and would only come back once. But I didn't live there any more.
Got to Hlavni Nadrazi and what an amazing surprise. Murat was there :)
Two goodbye's hurt more than one but... I'm glad I met you there.
He left first and I waved as his (delayed) train pulled away.
For the first time I didn't complain about the trains being late.

Nice lady was in the reception. :) Lucky me.
(to rude reception bitch: Yes I'm going back to my country.)

My train arrived minutes later and...
...In the morning... I was gone.

And in the morning...
"Tonight I'll shave the mountain
I'll cut the hearts from Pharaohs
I pull the road off of the rise
tear the memories from my eyes
and in the morning I'll be gone"

Rock For People 2009 - Hradec kralove
Huge complex completely crowded...
Cheap food and cheap drinks. Except for water that was supposed to only be supplied by the organization and with a fixed price but in one place I was asked 79 CZK for a small bottle of water. Apart from that everything went amazingly well.
Concerts were (surprisingly) on time with all the stages and consecutive bands this was indeed a very positive thing.
Organization staff when contacted was very helpful and friendly.
Gogol Bordello... this band live is unbelievable! I wanted to see this live for a long time. It was worth the wait.
Placebo... well no "Teenage Angst", no "Burger Queen", no "36 Degrees", no Nancy Boy... but this was not unexpected.
The new drummer suits this band perfectly giving a little taste of time that have past. The band "showed" him off twice and I was wishing for a third. Acoustic set? Maybe... if they break the drummer's arms =)
The man gives new energy to every song and even a "Meds" slower than usual (I like it fast) seemed like a completely different song.
I had good company in this concert that helped make it very enjoyable.
My piç friend Serhat was there and I wish I had a photo.
Let's just keep it in our memories and don't forget the friendly bus driver and the free ride. (I told you we wouldn't charge us you paranoid bastard:)
Met an interesting "character" there. A Czech guy with Polish parents that insisted he was not Czech but Polish. Reminded me of someone I wished could have been there.
Didn't take my camera because they were not allowed in the premises. I saw professional cameras there, but I'm glad I didn't take mine.
Thanks to a very friendly and helpful online staff member, Miss Lucie Cunderliková I got the amazing photos that I will post here.
All of them were kindly provided from the Archive Rock for People.
