Not that lucky

As I mentioned in the previous post I am quite lucky. Unfortunately not lucky enough to catch this lady in September.

Rock For People 2009

My temporary geographical positions usually allow me to catch some good things when it comes to concerts. I have to say in this matter I am quite lucky.

Yes, I am going & yes, this shit is gonna rock!

One of the last

One of the last nights where we can call ourselves a group. A lot of people are leaving and I was the first to leave Hanny Banny after saying goodbye to who is leaving tomorrow. Way too many people.
Why can't I handle this properly?
One of the last good nights...

Venice

Walking a lot. Coca-Cola 4.5€. That means we walked a lot and were very thirsty.
Nice city to get warmed up for a trip.

Eurotrip

So it began with a backpack and a camera.
Venice - Rome - Barcelona - Paris - 10 days.

Sightseeing, sleeping on airports taking photos, walking until exhaustion, running to catch planes and buses, history lessons, complaining about prices, meeting people, having fun, not getting enough sleep... laughing. Asking for directions, getting lost, running some more. Still laughing...

Generally this was it. But each country and city had their special features, their own "magic", and we had our fun in different "magical special" ways.
I tried to capture some of this magic in these photos... but no lens in the world can do it. It will just stay with me until my memory doesn't allow me to have them any more.

Cast: Serhat, Fatih, Audrius, Murat, Dogukan & me.

Here we go...

Back at Pardubice!

Venice - Rome - Barcelona - Paris.

I'm back.
I'm tired.
I'm sleepy.
I'm sore.
I'm hungry.
I'm dead.
I missed this country.
I'm back.
I'm back at Pardubice.

For I am a rain dog too

Inside a broken clock
Splashing the wine with all the rain dogs
Taxi, we’d rather walk
Huddle a doorway with the rain dogs
For I am a rain dog too

Oh, how we danced and we swallowed the night
For it was all ripe for dreaming
Oh, how we danced away all of the lights
We’ve always been out of our minds

The rum pours strong and thin
Beat out the dustman with the rain dogs
Aboard a shipwreck train
Give my umbrella to the rain dogs
For I am a rain dog too

Oh, how we danced with the Rose of Tralee
Her long hair black as a raven
Oh, how we danced and you whispered to me
You’ll never be going back home
